Light diffuses through smoke-stained glass, colors burned and faded from grand exaltation into quiet devotion. The altar remains, adorned by melted, uneven wax. The wood is dark, and its edges soft, as if the building still holds its breath. The deep and heavy scent of something sacred now transformed: resin, with the unmistakable trace of burn. Even in the quiet of the still-clearing smoke, nothing is abandoned.
