About our founder, Tyke O'Brien
Tyke O'Brien is an educator, designer, and cultural thinker with a PhD and a lifelong habit of blending worlds—fashion, art, music, film, books, and community. She's worked in the music industry, led lit and film programs for two decades, and built interiors with her own design firm. Originally from Chicago, she's been in Pasadena since 2011, where she lives with her family, three cats, and a stack of folk‑horror films she rarely finishes before falling asleep.
