Inspired by my journey to the spiritual and unique land of Oaxaca and Chiapas, Mexico. These symbols are meant to evoke the breath of a time passed while honoring it's present day magik. Each piece is reflective of the ceremonial nature of life in the tradition of the Curandero's hands- the transformation of souls from birth to 'death' and 'life' again.
Hand carved in wax and cast in brass using the lost wax process, these intersecting pieces come together to create the illusion of a full circle. Within the center hangs a single brass dipped obsidian bead.
